What white pool? You recharge it by taking it back to the place where you found it, atop Easterly Falls.
well, the dwarf guy says the lamp recharges in the white pool, which I thought was the white water area on the next level below in the underground dungeon. The waterfall makes more sense though and is less annoying to go to.
No no, I'm certain you are in the right place, but I think just entering the pool won't recharge it. If I recall well, you have to walk in it for a while or press some button on your controller or something. Gods, it's been so long since I was at that part of the game, I don't remember.
I went to the spot at Easterly Falls where you get the lamp and talked to the waterfall, but the lamp did not recharge.
It certainly is recharged at the waterfall. If you took a step forward, talked to the waterfall, and didn't get a blue flash, then you must be at the wrong place or something.
I got the blue flash and everything, but when I went to use the lamp in battle afterwards, it summoned stupid chocobo again.
