Yea, I tried to leave main bosses out of the game, though, thus no Kuja, Golbez, Sephiroth, Kefka, etc.
hmm, yeah, that's a good thing, I guess. Another Kefka vs. Sephiroth match would've been tired and overplayed, and that's probably what it'd have resulted in.
I agree with you, fellas. It's too bad Reno lost to Leo. And we could have had someone like Kuja or Gilgamesh in the final four instead of Bahamut. But a good tournament, anyway. We got the best people in the finals, they certainly deserved to get this far, and it was a very even match. They're both really well done NPC characters, and in the games where they appear (FFIV and FFIX), they do well both personality-wise and battle-wise. Well, the one who's more beautiful got the victory.
I guess this means Cloud was the most popular playable character and Beatrix was the most popular non-playable character. Good stuff.

I beg to differ; it depends on their levels, I should imagine, but Beatrix is far more effective an attacker at a low level than Cloud is, and her magic skills are pretty much impossible to beat. At a higher level, It'd likely result in a draw unless Cloud got his limit break quickly enough.
I'll cook up something, but not for a while.
Beatrix vs. Cloud - She would use something like Stock Break to cripple Cloud but that would cause his limit to reach max quickly and then he'd waste her. I don't think she would have any defense for Omnislash, and she couldn't get two attacks in because the limit gives you the next strike.

but the damage Omnislash would do would be minimal, since his Ultima Weapon depends on his health. (the lower it goes, the less powerful it is).
