What is it with the english language? There's so many oddities about it. Discuss the oddities here. For example, the thread title doesn't make sense...it is self contradictory. Another of my favorites is 'do not read this sentence', for obvious reasons.
Here's a FYI: there's no such thing as a 'longest english sentence'.

Just like Hare and Hair. Sounds exactly the same but spelled differently. Just an oddity I suppose.

English is so messed up because it isn't actually English it's a mixture of 1,000 (well, maybe 2.5) languages trying to be perfection.
