It makes me wonder sometimes, if you look at all the headings for the threads in General Chat you'd be scared away.
The question is however, have you created a forum title with a name that bears no releationship to its contents, or/and do you recon our incoherent titling scares off new members?
I should start a thread that discusses muffins with the heading "GIANT ROUND THINGS I WILL GRAB IN A VICE AND SQUEEZE"

I always make my thread titles relevant.
Stupid thread titles do make me laugh, though.

I try to make my titles interesting, but not to the point of them being totally unrelated to the topic.

In Gen Chat I've made a grand total of THREE topics! YES!
1) "Bored Atheists of the World Party" Totally misleading title, as this was actually a discussion of the colour blue.
2) "BOOBIES ARE AWESOME" It contained a picture of a booby!
3) "Scary Skerry badbad places" A thread about... well... Scary Skerry badbad places.
I'll make a thread tomorrow or something.
Lots of newbies lately, so obviously it can't be too frightening.

My thread titles are all relevant, but I find the weird ones humorous. I think that anyone that gets scared by them doesn't deserve to be here anyway.
