This is a character from one of my favourite books. She was born in Vietnam, but was brought to France because her parents died.


This is the cover of the book, which is what I made this picture based on.

I'm afraid that it looks better on paper, scanning always makes it look less sharp... :/

Aw, I was expecting the bird from The Lion King.

Anyway, it looks preety good, but personally I believe it is hard to see if she is a woman or a child. Still, I think you made her face too round. Asian girls tend to have a rahter round face, but when drawing them try not to exagerate that feature or they look a little boyish.
