where can i find scan

well, the title says enough . Where can i draw scan? or how can i refine it. i went through all the abilities and didnt find anything there and nowhere on the worldmap either.
im going to make my characters somewhat stronger by devouring rubydragons and t-rexaurs.
So if anyone has some suggestions for that, id appreciate it.

I think that in Balamb in those blue flies has scan! And they are esy to kill!

I find this question hilarious because if you do exactly what the game tells you to, odds are scan will be the first spell you draw.
