Well this thread is a discussion on which non fighting game characters would you think look cool in a fighting game.
I think that Squall, Seifer, Tifa, and Zell would fit in well.

I think that Squall, Seifer, Tifa, and Zell would fit in well.
Squall. His sword would prove quite useful in a game like Soul Calibur.
Cloud. For the same reason as Squall, I suppose.
Ico. His horned helmet and dangerous stick throwing skills would make him a force to be reckoned with.
Darth Vader. He was in the Star Wars fighting game, but that doesn't count.
An unusual mix, maybe. However, I can't think of any more suitable fighters right now.

I wanna old school people put into games, like Garland, or the king od Corneria. Just imagine a fighting game with a guy who sits on his throne all day, he'ld be a menace, and then Garland, he'll just poke you with his little dark knight horns on his helmet.

Dante would be awesome in a game like Soul Calibur.
They were planning on putting him into the next MvC game, but then we all realised that MvC sucks and that Dante just wouldn't work in 2D.

Zell's Fists of Fury would beat down any other RPG character, I'm sure.
Spiff would suck as a game character, don't try and hide it.

All the FF characters from 4-9 would be awsome in a SSBM type game. Plus appearances form Chrono Trigger and Xenogears.
