What he was, was a GREAT politician.
No, and although I respect him and every other president that ever lived, his canonization is mystifying. And frustrating. And, as superficial as it sounds, it's ruining my regularly scheduled programming. While I wouldn't mind dedicating a week of media overexposure to, say, FDR (a true example of greatness), the avalanche of media attention isn't doing anything for me except irritate me.

That being said, I'm sorry he's dead, so don't flame me. It has simply been too long, and it's getting to me.
