    Default .wmv files

When I go and download .wmv files from KazaaLite, half of them end up being unable to play. Is there any way to find out what is needed to get them to work? I use Media Player Classic and Winamp, and I have WMP if needed, but it usually doesn't work on any of them.

Download the gspot codec appliance *attaches*

Even if your problem is solved, you can use it for any WMP-related media file. I opened some wmvs but it just said the codec is asf (for video)

Of course, it'd be better to get the latest version of GSpot

I haven't had a need to...but just for the sake of getting the 'newest alpha version release' , I'll go and get it now :D
