Guess ur right about that (burn) but I added an answer not knowing who ex-death was/is, that is one of the few (ffV) that I have yet to beat, and I have no idea on this one.

Correct Dormos, Good Work! I didn't think anyone would get it without more hints. Here's the ones you missed though.
Wielder of an undeath bane (FFIII) - This was refering to one of the swords you get early in the game. Good vs undead and only a Red Mage could equip it.
All over the place, but no fame (FFIX) - This was a rather cryptic and not entirely true statement, but it is refering to the number Red Mages you see throughout the game, though there's none that joins your party.
And a hat with ears through (FFTA) - In FF Tactics Advance only the Viera can be a Red Mage, and their ears stick up through their hat if you look at the portrait.

in terms of fluff, holy help was to be the paladin you should be by that time, and in case someone didnt get that other part, flame was easy and spark was that of life "the spark of life". For the rest, I actually haven't beaten the game so I don't know how they turn out. (lets not spoil that one :P ) Well done by the way.
