Chrono Trigger isn't a Final Fantasy though.
I didn't say that Masa and Mune were the answer, simply that the two could be understood to constitute a valid (though not at all exact) comparison.
OK, because I was thinking the answer would be somewhere in FFI-XII and possibly Tactics. Not that I object to CT riddles per se.
EDIT: Maybe Mystic Quest as well, but I've give warning about that.
