Thread: Too Easy!!

    *yawn* Too Easy!!

Is it just me or is Final Fantasy X too easy! Using doublecast Ultima for 1 mp each time and Hatagea you will beat any boss in just two times running through your starting three, Including Ject. Overall you can make anyone easily invincible with all of the wepons customizing you are able to do.

Does anyone else agree with me?

Yeah, the regular in-story bosses are easy, but try beating any of the optional super-bosses like Nemesis or Penance. They are super-tough.

That's why the in-story bosses are so easy, because they make you uber-powerful to take on the optional super-boses.

The first time I played FFX, I got a bit stuck in some parts, but that was because I didn't know the strategies. The second time I played it, I breezed through it, hardly getting any Game Overs. Leveling up is easy, too.

I don't think I realized just how easy FFX was until I played FFVIII. However, I don't think FFX is as easy as FFX-2.

[/qq]No kidding... Every game is easy if you get your characters to insanely high levels with all the most powerful abilities. However, it takes a whole lot of work to reach those abilities, they're a kind of 'bonus' for those who want to work their team up to the maximum. If you just progress through the game naturally, it's a more balanced difficulty curve.

Suppose they tried to make a game that's still hard no matter how tough your characters are... imagine how difficult it'd be to complete the game for a regular player or someone on their first time through... since a fully-maxed FFX character can deal over half a million points of damage with a single overdrive, the major enemies would need many millions of HP, and devastating attacks, in order to remain a threat. No regular character could win. That'd be pretty bad for players who don't have the time or patience to spend thirty-odd hours collecting spheres and gaining S-levels.

The FFVIII system, where enemies level up as you do, has received quite a bit of criticism, and it has loopholes, so it'd be impractical for them to use it again.

Simple fact is... if you make your characters really strong, then the fights are going to get a whole lot easier. I thought that was the point, anyway?

I didn't level/power up and the game was still darn easy with Hastega. The whole change-your-party-during-battle thing was one of the stupidest things Square has ever done. It made the game twice as easy.

FFX is definately the easiest out of all the FFs I've played, but I still thought it was a great game. I agree that changing your characters during battle made things wicked simple, because you no longer screwed yourself over if your enemy was weak against magic and you had no mages in your party. No problem! Just trade in Lulu for Tidus! However, I thought it was a neat concept - just as I liked that summons no longer came and went, but stayed and battled. Sure, this made things easier still, but the idea was cool, so it was at least worth a shot.

"Beefing yourself up and using all the ultra spells makes the game easy!" duh! You can do this with pretty much every game out there. They're all easy once you reach a certain level, and have certain things.

And FM is right, optional bosses and the monster capture place bosses are super hard.

That's because Yu Yevon isn't the last master, the created monsters are

Am I the only one who's wondered why the monster tamer says "You're my last hope" when you chat with him sometimes when he could just sic his monsters on Yu Yevon and carve it into bite-sized chunks within a few turns?

Play the game blindfolded. Then tell me how easy it is.

Am I the only one here who enjoys easy games? Perhaps.

I thought FFX was perfect in terms of difficulty.

I do as well. I dont like the bosses to be too difficult to beat, because I'd rather have story progression than a challenge. When it comes to optional bosses, then I like some serious difficulty.

for god sake, ffX was harder then ffVI-IX by far. you required tactics to beat some of the later bossess and how many of u were not flaterned by Seymour Fluxs cross cleave and total Anhilation moves the first time round?

its not as difficult as the first five but still the hardest post ffV ff game.

and of course the super bossess in the monster arena, the dark Aeons...penenance...how many of u forgot them from the pal version??? not easy some of them.

I didn't level up because I just wanted to get through it, so it was pretty hard.
