It was like 1 3 6 ... etc etc and I couldn't figure out the pattern.

1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10+11+12+13...

Anyway. ALL of the internet IQ tests are crap. They are very inaccurate. Also IQ NEVER changes no matter how old you are. My mom is a shrink. So I know the parameters.
0-69=retarded(yes it says "retarded")
70-79=borderline
80-139=average
140-179=genius
180-209=prodigy
210+=superhuman

So there you have it. I'll TRY to post the IQ formula later.

M= mental age
C= chronological age(actual age)

IQ tests determine your mental age. Mental age does not necessarily have to be the same as your chronological age at any point in life. Mental age MAY or MAY NOT grow at the same rate as chronological age. Just like chronological age, mental age can never go down. So if your mental age is the same as your chronological age and it goes up one every year along with your actual age, you'll have an IQ of 100 which is pretty good.
