Well I have a paid account at LJ, but it only allows 15 User pics. It says that "permanent" accounts get 50, but I can't work out how to get a permanent account? In the paying options it only seems to let you choose 3 months/6 months/a year.

That appears to be notoriously unfair.

What would you ever need more than 15 pictures for? I maybe have one uploaded at a time.
The good thing about a permanent account is that you only have to pay once, rather than every three/six months or so. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that to be the case.

I believe you can pay for extra user pictures.
Edit: And I'm correct. It costs $10 dollars for 12 months for extra pictures. Not a bad deal.
