Quantity. A lengthier essay will always get a higher grade than a quality paper because the teacher doesn't want to read it and will automatically assume you did a good job since it contains a lot of words and pages.

The above is a secret that very few students ever figure out. It's gotten me through 8 years of English classes, no joke.

In terms of being the consumer, you would want the best in a product, so quality.

In terms of being the seller, you would want to sell the most products, so you would want to go with quantity. The more you sell, the more money you get.

However, you can't have both. With a high quantity of a product, the quality will be low. But a high quality product would be low in quantity.

I would go with quality, because it's a guaranteed thing.

Apparently, I have been declared banished.

say you have a pile of garbage. It does'nt matter how big the pile is, it will still be nothing more than a pile of garbage. Quality of said pile, can make it gold, which is in essence, of the few things that quantity can say for otherwise. So they're pretty much opposites.

I'd rather do a good job, than get it done fast.

Quality. You don't get much but that's not necessarily a bad thing. How is that you ask? Well what if the thing you got was crap. You wouldn't want a truckload of crap, would you? You would?!?! Uhh...don't talk to me anymore. Stupid rhetoric. :mog:

Doesn't work in my situation, since my teachers give me a certain limit to how much I can produce. Any more and it's an instant fail.

As someone who works with computers I say quality over quantity what is the point of 100 P133s working on the same task when one 2.4ghz can do it? however my friend who is an art student gets told time and time again to do quantity over quality as his grades will improve for 10 crap pictures over 1 perfect picture.

Depends on the context. For example, I'd rather have had 3 scrappy England goals than one brilliant one, in last night's match.
