I've been to Vegas a couple times... I never gambled because I wasn't old enough... My family plans to go after my graduation too... I dunno if I'm gonna gamble this time even though I'm old enough... I'm horrible at gambling in video games, so I might just hit the arcades like I always do (the arcades in Vegas suck, though - go figure). I remember the last time I went there, I wen to the Excalibur arcade while my family was gambling and I was playing Soul Calibur II, and all these people challenged me, but I beat em' all... I had like a 9 or 10 win streak, and then this big guy challenged me and I beat him too, but he got all pissed off! He was like all cussing and being scary... I thought he was gonna punch me in the mouth. He kept rematching me and I kept beating him and he got more and more mad... I thought about letting him win since I was really scared, but decided my pride was more important- heehee! He just left after a few more games. Hmmm... now that I think about it, not a very exciting story... Sorry for wasting the time of those who read it.

I was there once when I was 14. I had a good time. I couldn't gamble (not that I would do much of that anyway), but I did play lots of arcade games.

Haven't been in a few years. The last time I went we caught a couple of Phish concerts and stayed up until 4 in the morning every morning playing nickle slots and drinking Coronas. Good stuff.

Big towns like that can be slick because fancy hotels make all their money on gambling and the rooms stay comfortably cheap. There's a trio of hotels in the middle of nowhere near the state line in Nevada - Buffalo Bill's, The Primadonna and *coughmumbledally* - that have fantastic, suite-style rooms for around twenty dollars a night because the twenty-four hour casinos rake in cash. Buffalo Bill's is known for the Desperado, a huge-but-aging coaster i wasn't old enough to find the bravery to ride when we were there oh so long ago.
