    Default Level 5 Death

    It's been a while since I last collected E-skills.

Does anyone in the party have to actually be at a level that's a mutiple of 5 in order for the others with E-skill materia to pick up the spell?

I'm doing a lot of leveling up on Disc 1 and I don't want to be stuck with not being able to learn it with a party all at level 99.

    Thanks.

Level 4 Suicide seems to operate along the same lines.

As long as the spell is used on the character they will learn it, unlike some other FF games.

As long as the spell is cast on that character, and it doesn't miss, then I think that character will learn it.

You wanna know a bitchy Enemy Skill to learn? Death Roulette. Fun times.

Roulette is annoying all right but I found Pandora's Box the hardest. If the first Dragon Zombie you meet casts it you get it easily. But mine didn't and I've never been able to get any other Dragon Zombies to cast it.

BG: it's called "Manipulate." Or just using 500 dmg Enemy Skills and weak spells until it finally casts it.

i've had the same problem man, i've tried EVERYTHING. I've poisoned it, and let it slowly, slowly die, i've used healing items, i've used Laser till its down to one life, i've even cast Death on it when its about to die so that it can have a full recovery all so i can repeat the whole damn process again! lol, very aggrivating.

For whatever reason, Dragon Zombies behave differently after the first time you fight them.

I've found it easier in the long run to start a new game from scratch. If the first Dragon Zombie I meet casts Pandora's Box, I'll go back and save. If not I'll reset.

Plus it gives me an excuse to pick up easily missed items like Vagrisk Claws and Touph Rings.

Yeah, I have noticed it's far easier to get the first Dragon Zombie to cast Pandora's Box than the others if the first one didn't. Weird.

Most of the time, though, I manage to get the first one to cast it.
