Well mah friend Horatio, i went over his house one day and we played ff7 and he always told me (at school, how aeris when she died he could still use her after that) well..... i saw it and WOW it was soooo cool!!

she like lived, it was awesome! OOO i got to use her and every thing! but then when we got to the end of when u battle sephy, the game crashed cuz there was too many players.. so yeah...

has anyone else ever had such a crazy glitch like that?

Like Aeris said, it's a cheat. Using a Gameshark you can still use her. And if you're implying it isnt a cheat, then I don't believe a word of it.

This is rediculous. It's just a cheat created through hacking, and if you would like to state otherwise, you're no better than any other rumour monger. There's a big difference between a glitch and a cheat. There's no way there'd be such a huge glitch.

Chill, everyone. He said he thought it was a glitch, not something happening in the story.

I've never encountered that kind of error before, but I guess it's possible. A Gameshark lets you do it, after all, and using a Gameshark will even cause the game to crash at some points, just like FFFFsephychibi described.

Please, don't be so critical of someone who's posting something innocuous like this. Rumour-mongering is when people say things like, "hey, I just got the silver chocobo and beat Cheese Weapon, then Bugenhagen came to Cloud in a dream and gave him the Omega Amulet to revive Aeris in the church! You did that too? awesome. of all the ways to revive her, thast my favorite. Sometimes though, Bugenhagen only gives you Mythrl... it depends on your luck

Actually, what FFFFsephychibi said is true, as I've tried it myself. If you use GameShark to bring Aeris to your party when she shouldn't be there, the game will work well otherwise, but there will be some glitches. Here are some I've noticed or heard about:

- If Aeris is in your party during the FMV when Sephiroth kills her, the game will crash right after the FMV.
- If you have Aeris in your party when Cloud goes totally nuts in the Northern Crater (Disc 2), the game will crash.
- If you fight Diamond Weapon with Aeris in your party, the game will crash after the battle.
- It's cool to take Aeris to your group in the final battle against Sephiroth and have her defeat Seph with something like Knights of the Round. But IIRC, the game crashes after beating Safer Sephiroth. Oh well, at least you can still get Aeris on that battle. I also have a picture of that battle with Aeris in your group. It's from the PC version, and I'm about to have her cast Great Gospel there.

Now for what good things you get for reviving Aeris:

- You can use her in battles (doh).
- After the snowboard quest, Aeris appears on the screen and says that you should check the map.
- When you go to Fort Condor to fight for the Huge Materia, she appears on the screen during dialogues, and she has loads of lines there that even fit her personality, such as "Let's get some sleep", "I think we should help them" and "What's this? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere before" (when getting the Huge Materia).
- It's hilarious to put Aeris in your party when returning to the waterfall in the City of the Ancients. She'll appear on the screen and watch at her own death. Too bad she doesn't say anything.

However, I must emphasis that Aeris can't be brought back without a GameShark or some other hacking tool.

Everyone knows the Gameshark thing, that's why we all mentioned it. But there's no normal, non-Gameshark way to get her to live, glitch or not.
