I have something against what FFs have become... from the most loveable RPG series known to man, to the most commercial, recycled, and washed-up RPG series known to man. The downward spiral began with FF8 and the closest reconciliation they've made is FF11, but it's got a monthly fee so I'm not playing. But it brings you back to hardcore RPGing, not having the game carry your balls in a purse for you.

Are you kidding me? Have you tried to kill dark aeons in FFX or bosses in via infinito in FFX-2?!? Try, you may uncover quite new surprising things. FFs are hardcore RPGs!

Hard as a few bosses might be... no, FFs are not "hardcore" RPGs. Hardcore is stuff on PC like Everquest... or a hardcore tactical-RPG would be like Tactics Ogre: Knights of Lodis... those games are friggin for people with no lives who can delve into a million tiny aspects in an RPG and obsess over it. That's "hardcore".

How do you know she is a witch?

    She looks like one! Yeah!

But they dressed me up like this.

Did you dress her up like this?

No, no we didn't... well, yes, a bit. She has got a wart!

It's really funny as often people think that a game has to be ugly amd boring to count a hardcore.

It's really funny how some people think an RPG needs to be pretty and easy to be fun =/

As far as I know hard and boring never was convertible terms. Even more. if game can be beautiful it should be, lol.

I think witches can be men.

I was watching the movie Warlock (excellent movie by the way, Julian Sands is terrific villain) and some little kid asked him who he was.

Julian Sands said he was a witch. The kid said that wasn't true because witches were girls. Then Sands just said that some are men too. But then again, that movie was weird. In order to fly, the Warlock needed to drink the fat of an unbaptized male child.

I honestly don't know what the difference between a Warlock and a Witch is. Maybe they're the same thing. Warlock sounds cooler, but witch sounds more dramatic when used as an insult.

I guess it's all just a matter of preference.

And to stay on topic, I'd like to point out one of the monsters in the original Dragon Warrior is called a Warlock. He is a different colored version of the magician. In the Gameboy version of the original game, his name was changed to Druid. Could this be Nintendo wanting to get rid of a potentially troublesome name, or just a better translation?

To hell with Battletoads and Double Dragon.
    THIS is the ultimate team.
