LOL you know what makes me laugh I for one don't give a toss for football but my sisters boyfriend said we would lose 2 - 1 all weekend and he got prooved correct. still I saw the foul commited by our keeper and it was nasty plus when Beckham missed the penalty he aimed straight for Barthez he was'nt even on target for the corner of the net. And Frances penalty well our keeper ran away from the ball on that he totally went the wrong way. Mugged, more like Ownzed

I wouldn't say we were outright the better team, but we certainly deserved the win, and we certainly didn't deserve to lose like that.
Still, our overall performance was great, and the Croatia-Switzerland game showed us that we've nothing to fear from those two.
I'm pretty sure that we'll qualify.

Wilkinson's absence might've made a bit of a difference, but I still expected England to score more than just one penalty. A try or two, perhaps, but it was not to be.
Great game, though. The first half, anyway.
To deserve to win a football game, you need to be on top for the whole game - not the whole game minus the last two minutes. England fluffed it - they've only got themselves to blame!

hmm true our team f***ed up but still it was funny to watch it seeing as I don't care either way it just made me laugh and win £30 on a bet
As I said, we weren't the better team. But I think that after holding out so well for 91 minutes we did deserve the win. Or rather, after failing to make an impression on our penalty box for 91 minutes, France didn't.
