    I hear ya, Jayren. We get about 6 to 7 months of overcast skies and rain and maybe one thunderstorm a year if we're lucky. If we get all that rain we might as well see some action with it once in awhile. Of course, sometimes we do get a lot of wind that gets funnelled through the valley, which results in fallen trees, which results in no internet.

    i've always been interested in watching tornadoes on EntertainmentTonight here in australia,.....not much happens (in terms of tornadoes) in Australia....except the ocassional water spouts (which i saw and willy willies outback...which i havent seen)!!

    but if i actually see one i'd be dead scared !!

    here drought is our main problem....we already have water restrictions..

    The last time there was a tornado in Burlington, it went straight down Roosevelt (aka 61, southeastern Iowa) and did what just about every decent storm does every year;

    Blew out the Wendy's sign.

    <.< There may have been some other damage, but it was insignificant.

    There've been like, 15 that have hit in and around Des Moines county (immediate vicinity that is) but only one in my 19 years of existence, that have actually hit here.

    Yeah we always 'almost' get tornadoes around here in the region of hell...but I never actually seen one...but I recall going through a nearby town and seeing where one had torn up a bunch of trees and signs and a couple of buildings.

    I wish one big gigantic tornado would just come and distroy this whole intire place and all the sh*tty people in it.

    Every morning at midnight it starts hautling down with rain and lightning and fat women, and lasts until about 5 when my bed shakes and I fall naked out of bed and get stuck to the ice cold floor.

    No tornadoes yet this year... but a few weeks ago the sirens went off in town while i was at work (in town, yes, i dont live in town ), and we all got to hang out in the basement for half an hour (on the clock, w00t! )

    I haven't seen one, but my brother was kinda in one of them last year. so he got a really good view...

    the thing I don't understand about the UK is we get rained on 11 months out of twelve in a year and then when we don't get rained on for a month or so all of a sudden in the SE there is a hose pipe ban due to drought! It doesn't even hit the triple figures here ever and we get a drought after 11 months of bloody rain?

    Still I suppose if you live in the UK all your life you kind of develop a liking for rain as you have to put up with it so much.

    It's storm season in Michigan! (spring) We've had 15 tornado warnings in 2 weeks. Ten storms, 3 with lightning. I love storms. So beautiful.

    Storms comfort me and I think that they are peaceful, unless it's a severe one!
