Peter emailed me just before I left for my vacation asking to be unbanned. He said it was an accident, which I don't believe for a second, but it was a nice try. I responded thusly:
We've made it a policy not to unban people. When that rule gets bent or broken, things get too complicated. I'm sure you'll find another message board that you'll like just as much, and you're welcome to join any of the message boards your EoFF friends frequent.
Circumstances happened that allowed the rules to be bent once and how the entire staff is having the flaming branch of assumptions stuck up our butts.

I think the staff communicates very well. We were all aware of what was going on when Bert posted that picture, but circumstances prevented us from acting immediately and we let it slide. Oops. We're not going to do that for every penis that sneaks its way into Sean's family-friendly message board.

Raistlin, I appreciate your opinion, and you're right that it was a mistake not to ban Bert when we had no intention of changing out porn policy, but your assumptions about our communication habits are giving me an itch, and I am going to flick you.

Since both these threads have already been closed, I wont be a turd and re-open them. If anyone has anything to say other than "But Bert didn't get banned!!!!1" or "But he didn't REALLY mean it!" then you're welcome to PM me so that I can repeat myself and every other staff member again.
