Official DooM 3 Release Date: August 3 2004
Randomly browsing the EB website, I found that they said the official release date for DooM 3 is the third of August. Which is pretty cool - it's nice to actually see one of these FPS that are getting so much hype actually getting released.
Unfortunately, I doubt I'll have the dollah dollah billz at the time to buy it, but whatyagonnado.
EDIT: I tried finding secondary sources about it through a google search, but I didn't get anything. EB could just be blowing smoke, dunno.

i might buy it. doom was fun way back when.
I'll play it, but only for the familiar feeling of nostalgia that often grips me when I play old games. I miss Doom.
Is that for the PC or both PC and XBox?
As far as I can tell, it's the PC version, though I'd expect the Xbox version to follow soon after.
Because my PC is crap, I hope the XBox version arrives afterwards or at least on the same day.
