Where the hell is Advent Children?
Wasn't it supposed to come out in Japan sometime this month or something? I read something about it coming out in the U.S. on July 10th. Or was that 2005 or something? I don't remember. I'm confused.
Someone who pays attentions to such important matters please inform me.

I heard that the date for release in Japan went from being "June 2004" to just being "Summer 2004", which would indicate a delay.
I also heard that it will be released in Japan in July 2004.
So I really don't know what is true.

They pushed it back to an unspecific time in winter. I know they were talking of a summer release for so long, but now the movie's only about halfway done, so they had to extend it a bit.
...yeah, it sucks.
AdventChildren.net just reported that EB Games has started accepting pre-orders for the PS2 version of the movie (not the DVD) that they are expecting to get in on April 1st 2005.
That slightly rages me.
I also noticed that Toys 'N Joys has "Advent Children PSP" listed on their preorder PSP section. I have no idea what that means, and I'd prefer not to hypothesize. I'll hope you'll prefer the same.
If any of you checked the front site, you would see that the "Summer 2004" was changed to a later date. It's sometime this year in Japan, just not as early as we may have hoped.
Advent Children will be a movie for the PSP that should be out from around this december, or sometime next year. It looks great, and it should be great addition to FF7.
I keep getting told that Sephiroth is in it, but that would be impossible since he got destroyed by cloud at the end of FF7 and blah blah blah he joined with the lifestream, and that was that.
But yer OK. If they want to have Seph in it, maybe an another clone or what ever. I don't mind.

This is what I have heard thus far, and I have kept close tabs on info:
Advent Children will be released in Japan slated for Summer/Fall 2004, and a Winter 2004/2005 estimate in the States. Not a simultaneous release as originally hoped for.
It will be released as a DVD first in both Japan and America during these projected periods.
When the Playstation Portable(PSP) is eventually released, a UMD format disc containing the movie will be released shortly thereafter in both Japan and America as well.
The movie runs approximately 90 minutes.
The antagonists are three Sephiroth clones: Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz. Kadaj and Yazoo are clearly clones of Sephiroth. Loz looks very different, but I am fairly certain he is a clone. Cloud didn't look too similar to Sephiroth now did he?
There is also a mysterious character in a wheelchair with a white cloak over his head, whom Kadaj appears to take orders from.......Sephiroth?
The three clones are trying to influence the children of Midgar to assist them in their evil scheme.
What this evil scheme is?
The movie takes place two years after the events of the game.
Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Red XIII, Vincent, Cid, Marlene, Reno, and Rude are all confirmed characters.
Reno and Rude will assist Cloud and friends in the fight against the clones. Wether they will be friendly or not, I cannot say.
Kadaj uses a long katana esque sword. Yazoo uses a small form of a gun sword. Loz uses some kind of "electrocution fist" type weapon. Cloud uses his Buster sword of course!
I am certain Kadaj can use some form of magic. I assume Yazoo, Cloud and such can use magic as well.
Last but not least.......this movie is going to rule the world!!!

No FFVIIAC, no FFXII... I think SE wants me dead from boredom very badly. I don't see any other reasons for such a behavior.
