Introducing myself.

Good day to all.

Some of you may know me, some of you may not. I'm a frequent poster on another rather large Final Fantasy board, but after growing somewhat disgruntled with its less-than-stellar userbase, I've decided to spread out a little and perhaps integrate myself into another, hopefully more insightful and mature environment.

To get myself out there a bit, a few random details. I started playing Final Fantasy with FFVII, and have since played every game to come out hence. I have tried to get into the older ones, but they just don't have the same grip on me. However, my favorite FF (and game of all time) remains Final Fantasy Tactics. The story, gameplay, music, and general awesomeness of the game keeps me riveted to this day.

As for personal details, I'm 19 and live in Colorado. I enjoy gaming (naturally), reading, playing soccer, and writing.

I hope that this place can offer what I'm seeking. I look forward to getting to know you all.

If you're looking for a more mature environment, you're probably gonna spend most of your time in the EoEo/World Event's forums, as most people in this one are...odd.

I believe you'll find this forum profoundly different than... that other FF site you go to. The moderators aren't snide and mean, they keep things tidy (might seem like nigh-censorship to you, and in many cases it is), and the way of going about things is that of courtesy and pleasantries, not like in... that other forum you go to, where every thread is a potential flame war.

As for the user-base, you'll find some remarkable people here. I come here sometimes, just to read the posts of those few, and enjoy their wisdom, kindness or humour.

Hello Rain. Not sure if I know you; I knew a Rain on another forum, but she stopped visiting a while back. That other forum you mention sounds familiar, so it might be the same one.
