Sorry I can't help. I hate blitzball this time around and find it is all just a jumbled mess. I absolutely loved blitz in FFX too!
I don't think you have much control over your blitz game in FFX-2. It is more luck based from what I understand, though I haven't really spent much time on it at all in FFX-2.

Blitzball I like that sport on the Final Fantasy X game. Cool is that sport it Water polo and Soccer on the water with no rules.
