Which one of the girls are best in close combat, Yuffie, Tifa or Aeris?

It seems like it depends on who you choose to make the strongest, I mean, I've trained all of them and it seems like Yuffie is the "hands down" strongest one, or am I completely wrong? I never use Tifa because I feel like she's totally incapable of beeing useful at all !! and Aeris...well you know...what's the use?

I would choose Aeris hands down. She is the most powerful, IMO. I'm not saying she hits the hardest, i'm saying her magic is very very useful. If u take the time to level up her limit breaks, it pays off later.
I only wish I would have been able to use her Great Gospel in some of the more interesting battles in the later parts of the game. *sigh*

Yuffie obviously isn't the best for close combat. All her weapons are long-range.

Tifa... but I never took the time to get Great Gospel and rarely used Yuffie.

Tifa, hands down. She hits hard, and her Limit Breaks are pretty powerful as well.

Tifa is obviously the best in close combat. I'm really wishing that she'll just get right up next to me and start knocking the crap out of me. Right up close....yeah...close...@_@....I mean what?

I haven't used a lot yuffie and aeris but i believe that tifa is the best.especially her limit breaks are very useful and powerful.

Tifa all the way... Yuffie isn't a close-range combatant so the question really doesn't apply to her, and Aeris is geared more toward healing and defense, but Tifa is all offense, and when you string all 7 of her limit breaks together into one attack, she pretty much decimates anything in front of her, don't underestimate her just because she wears a short skirt and owns her own bar... she is far from useless...

If you were talking combat in general it'd be a toss up for Yuffie and Tifa. I think Tifa would still win.

Aeris is a healer,not a fighter. Thats all i ever used her for,because i hated having her in my party. I choped things,i didnt waste time healing.

Tifa was always my strngest female.
