FFIV Odin and Bahamut

Having picked this game up after about 10 years of not having played it, I do remember two different methods employed by my cousins when they played this game in order to beat these two bosses. One of them leveled up to the point in which he could take Odin down before the timer hit 0 and survive Bahamut's attack. The other simply had Kain jump whenever the countdown reached 2 and let everyone else die. What is the prefered method when fighting these two?

Use the copy sword/shield method and have Edge throw whatever the most powerful weapon you have at the time is over and over again.

Bahamut
Have Cecil Attack, Rosa and Fu-So-Ya Cast Wall on as many people as possible, Rydia Summon Leviathan, and Edge use Blitz.


Odin
Have Cecil Attack, Rosa use White, Rydia Summon Bahamut, Edge use Blitz, and Kain Jump.

I don't have FuSoYa anymore, but wall reflects Bahamut's attack then? I didn't know that.
