Actually, they've released quite a lot of information.
It's not online, they said that from the beginning. Look around at the other threads here for loads of information. It's not really like the earlier FFs other than maybe its atomosphere. I can imagine the actual gameplay will be rather different.
It's a new step for SE, and it's going to be something new, but it's still an RPG, that's it's genre.
