The AI is better it will cure wen it needs to and fight wen it has to. It can also summon when it likes. But dont expect a full blown grandia system the system is unique. Does that mean the battle system will be a bit like Chrono Trigger or Kingdom Hearts? I've never played the Grandia games so I don't know how that kind of system works.
