I'm getting the game very shortly (this week) and I was wondering if you need the CD to play the game. I know you need it for installation but do you need it to play online? I suspect not but I dunno.

After it's installed, you never have to use it again. Unless you want to install it on another computer.

Yeah, make sure you have enough space (if you are playing on PC) for the game to install... I think it's over 6GB now (including patches). But yeah, just a reminder, if you install it on two computers... don't play both the games at the same time, Square will get made and ban you I'm guessing.
