FFVIII is a very good game at the beginning, but it got twisted and turned later on in the game. But it is a very good FF game for the play station. Though easily my favorite FF is FFVI.
Everyday I wish that I could be the one, for you...
this was the firts FF i ever beat, and is my fav, the card game is fun, but i got mad that i sucked at it and lost all my good cards... stupid Cid
Its alright. It could have had better writing and character development, but it was alright.

This thread kind of reminds me of a similar FF9 thread I made where I asked whether the game was good or not, and the good choice won big-time.
I agree with Del. I don't think the game was the best FF ever or even close to that, but it was neat and enjoyable to play, and it had its great emotional moments and events. The music is great, and the storyline didn't bother me anymore on my 2nd time through the game.

So worth the buy! My favourite FF game ever! Squall ish so kewlXD. Anyway...i love teh storyline, gameplay..and teh graphix are good for a PSX game too. But Squalls the best part
I love this game. The story is sometimes weird, and except for Squall and Rinoa, the characters are a bit underdeveloped. But this game was rather emotionally enthralling, and while playing this game I actually cried, which I've never experienced with a game before this one. Very worth buying, not to mention the eye candy.
