I certainly hope not, but it's not like the Chargers have much to play for. I guess the pleasure of crushing the Chiefs is enough. And LT needs another consecutive game with a touchdown.

You really couldn't script it better than this. Teams my players face in week 17:

Chiefs (QB, RB, K)
Cardinals (WR x 2)
Browns (WR)
Niners (WR, RB, DEF)
Chargers (TE)

and if I need some backups:

Redskins (WR x 2)
Titans (RB)
Seahawks (QB)

I think the Chargers will try to get as many wins as they can to rub it in everyone's faces. I wouldn't expect LT to play the whole game, but a half at home vs. KC is better than a whole game at Baltimore.

even the home/road matchups with weather favor me. The only game I have in a northern locale is in Foxboro, and cold means more Dillon.

The championship is set, and a shocking matchup to be sure.

Well, at least the Bills, Broncos, and Vikes all have something to play for.

Here are some things I made. The first is the completed stats for the fantasy season. The playoff teams are highlighted in blue. Compare your stats with where you ended up and see what you need to improve on next year.

The second and third attachments are a more in-depth analysis I did for the championship game between eestlinc and myself. I ran the numbers for each of our players and extrapolated their week 17 score based on season average, last four week average, opponent's average given to their position (measured by % of offense they consist of), opponent's average over the last four weeks, and average based on home/away status. I used a variety of different ways to get their projected score based on those things (the last five columns of the Reg17 sheet), then averaged those scores to get 'The Score'. As you can see my analysis has eest favored by 6 points. Let's see what happens Sunday!

I am very proud of this project. It likely won't tell much about the upcoming games, but to freely manipulate these numbers and create such fluidity of the data is closer to my idea of art than any drawing or song parody I have ever made. Enjoy, and good luck champ.

I want to win badly, but I am satisfied to know that the Eyeson fantasy championships continue to stay within the two of us.
