Default Memo save in FF Origins

Do you ever use the Memo save feature in FF Origins? Normally in FF1, you can only save at the Inns or when you use a Sleeping Bag, Tent or Cottage, and in FF2, you can only save in the world map. As far as I know, the Memo feature lets you save anywhere in the game, even in the middle of a dungeon. I haven't used it yet myself since I have a feeling it would make the games a lot easier than what they're in their original NES platforms. How about you? Vote for it!

I feel that using the memo in Origins is a lot like playing the FFs on an emulator and use savestates. In other words, blatant cheating. Of course, I have used savestates to blatantly cheat trough some games, but NEVER FF. Honest guv.

Normally, I'd say if it doesn't require some sort of code or glitch, then it's not cheating (KOTR in FFVII, for example). However, I never use a memo or savestate, since they weren't in the original game. I have been tempted to do so on occasion, but I never actually went through with it.

Sure it's blatant cheating, but I'm not to proud to admit, that sometimes I just need to stop playing quickly, so I use it then.

It created a temporary save point anywhere in the game. If you turn off the console, though, it'll vanish.

And I most definitely used it. After an hour of going through three step random encounters, there's no way I'd let that go to waste. Plus it's handly in FF2 when you want to level up without leaving the dungeon.

I will do this. Nothing in my life matters except this. No moment in my life exists except this moment. I am born in this moment, and if I fail, I will die in this moment.

I try not to use it. It's like candy at the checkout counter. You want to, but you just feel like you shouldn't...

I never use the memo save. Both games are easy enough without it.

I only used it in the last dungeon of FF 1, cause that was kind of hard, altough not to hard, but I just don't wanted to start all over again. In FF 2 I didn't use it, cause I am not that far and the game is really very hard. I have a sort of leveling up problem. (see other topic)
