Well, for me it's like he's more like feeling sorry for his country having what he considers a dumbass way of thinking. I don't know how that is hating it...maybe it's like that Cohen verse: I love the country, but I can't stand the scene.

Michael more proves his ignorance by his Bias, the same way Garefello does. Anyone that biased MUST be ignorant solely because they immediately negate the facts from the other side of the coin. I am not a ridiculous conservative either. the Moore equivalents on their side are just as retarded. i am a RIDICULOUSLY logical moderate.

The other point i want to assail you with is this. Whoever said three replys or so down that he presents "an opinion not commonly seen" or something to that effect.... Just give up. Liberals have more sensationalist media coverage than ever. Air America is Michael Moore's viewpoint shouted from the satellites 24 hours a day, and that just one medium. heres your stupid hat. enjoy, it's felt lined.

Both sides have a lot of sensationalist coverage. You must be pretty biased yourself if you cant see that. Everyone on both sides of this argument is biased. Moore is no worse than Limbaugh when it comes to that, or any other high profile Republican.

I worded myself a bit badly there (my apologies). I said that the Liberals were getting more coverage than ever, which is true. but yeah, the GOP is still chugging right with em. It all equals out, i'm jsut saying that liberals aren't the terrible underdog said poster made it seem like, 80% of hollywood alone is plugging them on the red carpet, which in the eyes of idiot america watching ET is all thats needed to pull a vote alot of times (which is sad). Then again, Middle aged people and senior citizens watching Rush and CNN are getting all the conservative in the world too, so it evens out.

    Genius, or Bastard?

I watched BFC on Wednesday, and F9/11 yesterday.

Moore is excellent at making manipulative propaganda. I think it would be interesting if the centreright made some sort of retaliation-film in response.

I thought the K-Mart incident was pure genius, but I didn't at all approve of how Moore used that little girl's photo during his interview with Mr Heston.

Sure, Moore is a member of the NRA. That doesn't mean he has loaded weapons lying around his house. And sure, he's a big fat white American. At least he's doing his research - I'm not particularly big, white or American, but I'm a damnsight more ignorant than he is, and yet just as biased!

I plan to do some more research during my holidays, but of course, if I'm staring with the likes of Anita Roddick and Naomi Klein, then I'm wondering if it's research, or merely more propagandafodder. Hm.

The funny thing is Moore's "documentary" spawned others, some of which are actually more factual and less passionate. I am looking forward to seeing some of the newer ones myself.

Funniest thing I think I've heard about this guy was Moore went to a press confrence for Bush and there was an open floor to ask the Bush questions, and he procedes to ask Bush a question about the war, and Bush says Why dont you get a real job?

That's really dumb. It's like telling a journalist to get a real job, when journalism is their job. Making these opinion peices is Micheal Moore's job. Sounds like Bush was just trying to avoid a real answer.

Yep.When you're at a Press Conference filled with Republicans and Republican sides Media then saying a quick response to Mr Moore will be presented (Probably on Fox) as the feeling of all America. To also say he's unpatriotic also is rather dumb cause he actually likes America...Just not Mr Bush, and I'm pretty sure lots of US people don't. Are they un-patriotic, just cause they don't like the current regime? I don't like our "elected" (Hey, Bush may have cheated there) governer (Tony Blair) but am I un-patriotic? I bet if some other Journalist asked, he would have said something, but didn't cause he knew Moore would use it against him.

Both sides have a lot of sensationalist coverage. You must be pretty biased yourself if you cant see that. Everyone on both sides of this argument is biased
Of course, if it wasn't biased would anyone admit that both sides have good and bad points. Although the chapter in "Dude, Wheres My Country?" is pretty unbiased where he points out the plus points of a Republican goverment. Although personally, it's very tongue in cheek and I feel many Liberals may just ignore it there.

Bush lied, Blair lied. Nothing is done. The BBC revealed the lies about the WMDs and yet the Hutton Inquiry said the BBC lied.People were fired, the BBC scared to ever make a comment again.
    Several Months later...
BRITISH Prime Minister Tony Blair today conceded it was increasingly clear Saddam Hussein had no stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction, as his credibility was called into question.

Like Australian Prime Minister John Howard, Mr Blair's central justification for going to war in Iraq was to rid the country of illicit weapons.
However, he had little choice but to admit Saddam had not stockpiled weapons after a long-awaited report by former top British civil servant Lord Butler found that, before the outbreak of war in March 2003, Iraq "did not have significant, if any, stocks of chemical or biological weapons in a state fit for deployment or developed plans for using them".

Nothing happens, but huge Media outrage. Nothing happens. Weeks later your goverment (USA) admits there is no conncetion between Irag And Osama Bin Laden. Your Goverment lied, nothing happens. Moore said this truth and yet Mr Bush STILL paints him as a Liar.
