well rapiers may be fine, but try useing one on a dragon as big as ....something very big. but what i was actually reffering to about weapons was teh crazy insane shapes...take aurons final weapon for instance, with that huge whole in the tip making the points splay outwards.

that problem with combat was one fo the reasons i kinda looked down on roleplaying games (except ff)....it's a bit sad rolling a dice to decide if you landed your blow when i do it for real, but each to their own.
