ok first of all you don't need 100 heroes. I believe there is a game faq online that shows you how to beat it without becoming invincible.

Ummmmm... I guess you didn't read the other posts? Seriously... anyone who CAN'T beat Omega Weapon without hero-items is... *cough*not very good at FFVIII*cough*

I've done it....I only wish that I could prove it. I don't remember the fight exactly but....every move omega does is in sequence....memorize the sequence and try to get perfect timing...i believe it took me 2000000 times to get it down. But GF is your friend here! When you are summoning them during the attack that goes well above 9999 HP make sure that you are summoning and it takes out your GF. You don't need them anyway.

Ok... well, don't worry... I would trust ANYONE who say that he have beaten Omega without hero... because it's really very easy. Don't use GFs to protect against Terra break, use the command Defend! (I did it with GFs+protect the first time I beat him and he was still very easy).
The only time you need GFs on Omega is when you figth him and not have 9999 hp on your characters and have to use them to defend against Megido Flame.

I beat him with Squall, Rinoa, and Irvine. Cause their limits are the ones that cause the most damage! Squall's Lionheart, Rinoas Wishing Star, and Irvines, Pulse or Ap Ammo. Rinoa is a must though because sometimes she will either cast wishing star or Invincible Moon! I know its random but in order to save your laguna card you have to take some chance. finally make sure that aura is plent and haste is cast. Thats it....good luck.....its damn near imossible but its always worth a try.....

1) Zell have the most dammaging limmit break. 2) I beated Omega blindfolded with this party: Squall, Quistis and Irvine and I did NOT have lionheart + no heros where used during the battle. However... blindfolded was nothing but pice of cake compared to my no junctioning challange... now THAT'S damn near impossible (but its always worth a try ) and I have done it! (so has Rubedo). This means that you only junction Command Abilities. No stats junctioning or str+60%, auto haste or stuff like that... ONLY commands... like Defend, magic, GF, item etc. That require max luck and max skill...now THAT it hard as crap.

Here was my combo...

Squall -100 (took forever at heaven and hell islands)
Rinoa - 100
Irvine - 100

All GF's equipped, and all ultimate weapons.

Then you should be able to beat Omega with ease!
