ePSXe and a PAL game disc

I just got the PAL version of FFVI for PSX (Thanks Rainecloud), it won't load on my Playstation so I tried running it on my ePSXe. I got it to start and run fine but once I get to the main menu my controller fails. Is there a plugin that can fix it?

Its less likely ePSXe and more likely your controller, check that works first

I've only tried the PAL version of FF Anthology Europe (FF4 and FF5) and FF6 NTSC. Keyboard works with all of them, and I assume it will also work with FF6 PAL. So if you can't get your gamepad working, you can always try the keyboard. It sounds hard, but I was able to make keys for myself that were just as easy for me to learn as using a PS gamepad.

Tried both, I can get the X, Circle, Triangle, and Square buttons to work but once the main menu opens up I can't do squat.
