Thread: CD Key question

  1. #1

    Default CD Key question

I don't play Half Life online anymore so I'm giving the CD Key to somebody else who wants it, is there a command that allows me to see a programs CD key I used? I left the case to my HL CD at my friend Mikes house and I can't call him and ask him.

Yeah...if you went through Steam, he won't be able to play HL online. But if you're just giving it to him so he can play single player than it's cool.

I haven't played HL in a while, but I think it's in the Options somewhere.

Well I don't play HL on the internet anymore. I got bored with blowing people to bits every time.

It doesn't matter if you don't play online anymore if you went through Steam - Steam requires you to register before you can play. If you registered your copy online already, then if he won't be able to, thus rendering him unable to play online, unless he goes through some third-party application or something.

I never went through steam when I got this game, I just play it without registering it online.
