Gogo is... (in fact, its proved! I found alot of hints! It depends on gameclock wheter you find em or not!) Crono!!

Crono was gettin bored from his voyages through time & space, so he started to beam himself into the FFVI Story!!
He started to imitate people because they all look, walk and talk like some weird-os! After he stopped laughing, he recognized that he was able to imitate them in a perfect way... he felt like he was able to be the worlds greatest hero again and joined forces with terra & co!

The world was unbalanced by the movement of the statues. Spirits of the dead were aroused to watch the final destruction of their planet. But, they united, the life stream formed to hold together the crumbling world. Time was short and if the heroes did not act swiftly, all would be lost. The life stream took physical form.

The body was chosen, the body of Adlai Stevenson, a great man and politician. But the form of this 'Gogo' was not whole. It had to sit idle in a cavern until it could feel the hope of the heroes. When they came, the dead chose who would accompany Adlai Stevenson on his journey.

The late King Figaro gave Gogo the ability to use tools.
Duncan gave Gogo the blitz techniques of Monks.
Madonna gave Gogo the Morph abilities.
Rachel gave Gogo the ability to hunt for treasure.
Cyan's Son provided the knowledge of Sword Techniques.
The spirit of every Moogle gave the dance steps to Gogo.
Cid modified Gogo to use Runic techniques.
The spirit of all innocent animals provided Gogo with a rage to save the wilderness.
The fallen school of Blue Mages taught Gogo the lore of monsters.
Daryll taught Gogo the dangers and benefits of luck.
The brother of Shadow took up the form and added Throw to the arsenal.

The Square official guys said something !, they didn´t say that Gogo was daryl, but they say there was an scene that can be only seen when Gogo and Setzer are in your party, EVERYBODY go and find that scene !
( I Didn´t sent the letter, another person).

Your comments and questions on the character, Gogo, from Final Fantasy VI were quite unique. I have never heard of such a thing before and in fact went and asked one of our game testers/developers who has been with the company for 7 years. His first job with the company was to look over the English translation of Final Fantasy VI(III in the states). He told me this, "The answer to his question is in the game. The only hint I will give, is that in the game there is a cutscene which can only be viewed with Setzer and Gogo in your group". I hope this helps you in your search for answers. that was the only clue they gave us , I can´t believe that nobody have ever write something about this scene between Setzer and Gogo... probably Daryl crash her ship near of that island where you find gogo, probably , I´m gonna begin to play it again just to see what I can found.
