FFXI is coming to Denmark in september 16 or something like that
and I thought that, instead of waiting I could just import it from USA.
anyway I got the game today and as I was trying to register
I had to select my country.
I had 2 choices:
USA
Canada

I live in neither of those, so what do I do?
Do you think I will be able to use playonline?

Yes you can. Just select USA or CAN there. Your address etc doesn't matter ( it's the credit card that really matters).

As mentioned before, it's too late now. You should have waited another two months to get the game when it comes out with th expansion. You'll just have to pay an extra $30 when it comes out. As far as future expansions go, I'm not sure, but you may have to import all of them as well if there are some significant differences in the formats of the US and PAL releases.

Well as far as I've heard, FFXI is coming out only with RoZ not CoP. I just heard this from a lone source, not multiple ones. Anyway, I think you WILL be able to get future expansions from EU not US because there can't be any differences (or the games wont be the same so for online play, it'll be unfair).
