Well you have radio, television, and paper, etc..
It varies slightly from each type, I will focus on television.
I would say the vast majority of it is left leaning. This often is intentional, but I am sure there are channels that do it unintentionally.
Fox does have a conservative bias, even I can see that, however they do often allow the otherside to speak and that is what is important on any network regardless the bias.
Really it is best to watch different shows with different biases, or attempt to ignore the bias alltogether.
You also have to take things into consideration, the terms right/left. Right/left is describing economic policies more than social ones, therefore if a channel is libertarian (economic right/social liberal), one may call it a leftist channel and people may then think it is liberal, vice versa with a channel that is Authoritarian (economic left/social conservative). But of course even conservative/liberal are often mis labeled. In definition, neither are bad. In modern day practice these labels are often seen as bad from the other side.
But anyway back to the topic.
I would say most media has the liberal (not just left economic) slant on things. I also tend to see this in newspapers as well. Interestingly enough a survey was done on media people's positions and the vast majority of people in the news are liberal. Therefore it is easy to see why the liberal bias outweighs the conservative bias. Bias is hard to not let out, so you can't blame the people, as long as they keep it toned down which most networks do well enough.
