After installing the game I played it with a keyboard for a while and then installed my gamepad. With the keyboard, all my attacks do about 38 damage. With the gmepad, it's 21. What's the deal here?

After installing the game I played it with a keyboard for a while and then installed my gamepad. With the keyboard, all my attacks do about 38 damage. With the gmepad, it's 21. What's the deal here?
You advanced in the storyline and now your same weapons are doing less damage to tougher enemies? You're looking in the wrong area for the answer to this question, that much is for certain.
But that's the thing: I started the game anew in both situations! If I use my PC /w keyboard, he does 38 damage to enemies, with the Laptop and the controller, 21!
At what point does anyone do that low damage? Anyway, I assure you that the controller has nothing to do with it. Just keep on playing.
