actually they CAN excede 255, but the number does not change. so on the surface nothing has changed, but u can continue 2 fill up nodes and it will have an effect.

Yes i think so, i dont think the game would allow u 2 fill nodes if it has no effect, that would be evil

Um, are you sure? Because i've gone over and I don't notice any difference. My guide also says that it is not possible...
I think you're confused with FF7 where you can continue morphing the Gelnika enemies for stats and it IS possible to exceed 255. That doesn't happen in FFX, at least to my knowledge.
I advice you not to do this but yes I have done it with all my character. I repeat do not do this, unless you are extremely bored. But yeah it's very long and tiring.
Everyday I wish that I could be the one, for you...
but that is not true! i,ve got several speed stats to 255 and it wont let me use any more luck sources on them.
