game trouble

i decided to play through FFIX yet again, i am now facing BlackWaltz#1 inside the ice cavern. First Zidane will trance (which at this point is inevitable) and the battle will run through like it is supposed to but trouble comes when Zidane is getting ready to exit trance, after two or three comands Zidane dosnt exit his trance like he should. Instead the bar reaches the top again and you choose a new command, well when i chose the new command Zidane will change his stance and sit there like he is waiting for somthing (like to exit trance or waiting for the enemy to attack). This dosnt change and i am forced to shut off the playstation.

i was wondering, has this ever happend to you and if so how did you fix it. im thinkin my game may be scratched a bit to much. Probobly need to buy a new one.

never happend to me... , maybe you need a new disc

Not sure what is happening...but...if you are using a gameshark then dont use it.

If you are not, then get a new CD.

im not using a gameshark, i figured out if you get through the battle without exiting trance it will end without trouble.

how can you avoid going into trance against them?? i've never been able to do that

get a new game, something is wrong with yours

the only way i can think is to switch Zidane outa the party

The way to avoid trance should be to just lose it before the battle, having an empty bar should mean you won't go into trance.
