ff Summon Tournment-Group Stage

hey ppl. this is one of two warm up tournments before the ff boss tournment in mid-late August.

this one is the summon championships. 64 summons will battle it out to decide once and for all, who is the greatest summon?

there are 16 groups and 4 summons in each group. each one will battle the other three in each group. it is 0 points for a loss, 1 point for a draw and 3 points for a win. only the top two scoring weapons can reach the knock out stages.

so please post here or pm me your vote for each match ppl. as in the boss tournment, u can vote 4 any reason u wish, hardness, coolness, personality etc so its very fair systerm.

Carbuncle-Never liked Tritoch that much.

Gilgemesh(ffVIII)-All the way! Yea, Eden really is great... but Gilgy is the greatest.

Tonberry King(ffVIII)-One of the funniest summons ever.

Ark(ffIX)-The summoning sequence is so great.

Group C

Chocobo(ffIII-V,ffVII)-One of the funniest summons ever + don't like the brothers

Anima(ffX)-Just so extreamly much cooler.

Group D

Phoenix(ffV-IX)-All the way!

Starlet(ffVI)-Don't like Valefor that much.

Group A

first match is straight away a huge scoring thriller but Carbuncle just about beats tritoch 5-4

and offically the longest summon ever(man it takes forever ) defeats the unpredictable Gilgemesh 6-3

Group B

Tonberry King absolutly decimates Slyph, coasting to a 7-1 knifing

and Ark too triumphs 7-1. i wonder what the score will be when Ark and Tonberry King battle...

Group C

Chocobo came back from the dead to defeat Sacred 5-4

and Anima wins with ease over Kirin, though not as easily as u might expect, obliterating 6-3

Group D

and Mindy just pips Phoenix 5-4

while valefor also scrapes a 5-4 victory





ok, the first four groups current status is as follows...(the abreviations are played, won, drew, lost, votes for, votes against, score different and points)(for sum reason i cant get the damn numbers 2 go straight ). Basicalary the last number is the most important...

Cerberus(ffVIII)- Liked the summoning, the battle + more usefull.

Unicorn(ffVI)- By some reason I just can't stand Ixion.

Group F

Raiden(ffVI)-Cooler look and cooler name.

Hades(ffVII)- one of my fav summons in FFVII. Looks so cool + love all the status effects.

Group G

Bahamat(ffIII-X)- Ofcourse.

Mage(ffIV-V)- Cindy annoys me.

Group H

Levithan(ffIII-V,ffVII-IX)- Leviathan is way cooler in every way.

Atomos(ffIX)- like the summoning + the FMV.
