BETA
Basicly, I have done everything the game has to offer except E/S and ruby. Ruby isnt the problem however its just that. I cant help but kill that bloody snake thing *forgot the name* in the swamp near the chocobo farm.
Should i sit there and let it attack me with 250 damage each time, doesnt hurt, or provoke or what. Any contributions would be a help.
The monster is called the Midgar Zolom.
You have to hurt it several times, but in small amounts. Use weak spells to knock off about 500 HP each time. After a few of these it will stand upright. Another 500 HP and it will randomly kick one of your party out of the battle. One more hit and it should cast Beta. The hard part is causing enough damage for it to cast Beta but not enough to kill it outright beforehand.
Try using Demi.
Demi seems like a good option. If it still doesn't work, try hitting it and curing it afterwards; repeat until she uses Beta on you.
