This happens near the end of Disc One. If I recall correctly, it starts out with Sephiroth and finishes with Jenova's only line of the game.

I agree that it's the most meaningful line. It can be taken in so many different ways.

EDIT: I need confirmation before I add a new quote.

EDIT 2: Okay, since there's probably not going to be any confirmation, I'll just post another quote. In the interest of getting someone to answer, it will be very easy. It might have been asked before, but, hey, that just makes it easier for you.

"Well to me it looks like a golden shiny wire of hope."

isnt that Barret when the Turks blow up the plate, and you climb th "golden shiny wire of hope" up to ShinRa HQ, right? ok, this is a rather hard on. I know i got the adjective, just not sure on word-for-word repetition. "this is junky materia...."

Of all the games that i find well worth the work, I can only say that three can properly qualify for the category. And of the three, one is, but of corse, FFVII. The other twon games which i couldn't depart from are Xenogears and FFT. And i also found a pattern, All of which were released 1997 or 1998 and were on PS. I have lost some faith in Squaresoft when they merged with Enix, they no longer adapt a well-thought plot as nearly as much as the older titles. And thus, I say to you Square-Enix, "Up yours!"

If I am thinking about the correct thing, You're talking about Scarlet in Gongaga village's Broken reactor.
But I cannot tell as what she says has only the "you only get junky materia from junky reactors". So I cannot be sure. Anyway. Quote: "Don't try to act innocent. I'll never forget it!!"
    I'll figure it out later...

I can remember the quote, just not who says it...

Maybe it was Cid... Or one of the Turks.
