Have you ever been named after a city, or had a city named after you? How can anyone tell the difference? The great Italian Rennaissance composer Giovanni de Palestrina shares a name with the town of Palestrina where he lived, yet nobody really knows if he was named after the city or if the city was named after him. International man of mystery, I say!

My uncle (by marriage) has the same last name as the city we live in. Corona. Which also happens to be the name of a beer.

Have I ever been named after a city? No, for all the times I've been named I've never been named after a city. Though my middle name, Jean, is a town just across the Nevada border, and I'm sure there are other Jean's.
