squall would own cloud cause since there are 4 disks in ff8 and 3 disks in ff7 that means squall was in more fights than cloud so the winner would be squall.

uhm.. I got diablos and no encounter as soon as I could and just ran through the game at lvl17, thus less battles.

Anyway, Cloud has 5 lives due to phoenix, Cloud also has the steal materia and steals Squalls heros, and then duplicates them using w-item.

Cloud: let's mosey! *beats Squall with Buster sword*
Squall: whatever... *dies*

Squall is one of the biggest pansies of all the FFs. Cloud, though also a bit of a pansy himself, would tear him apart. It appears that main characters get more wimpy as the FFs go along.

Cloud is a Former Shinra mercenary, And Squall is just a student from the "all Is Nice " Balamb Garden. Cloud could hit squall while he is worried about looking good.

The sprites from FF1 survived time travel, its not that hard to survivie, and they fought a man that they killed in the future whilst slipping the time stream.

First of all, like sephiroth_the_vile said, none of those people are in this, so please leave them out of it.
Secondly, I guess, by that statement, that you have, in fact, travelled through time? You must've. How else would you possibly know if it's easily survivable?
I don't believe the same existence is not supposed be in the same time instant, otherwise, one of them would disappear.

I think Cloud would win all the way. He has got more speed he is more powerful and not even the great Sephiroth could win so its a no contest. :p
